TTP and recent security threats

 

IT was the most audacious cross-border incursion by the TTP. Reportedly, hundreds of heavily armed militants stormed Pakistani security posts in Chitral last week. The intruders were said to have been beaten back after three days of fierce fighting but the situation in the remote district is far from normal. Tension continues to grip the region.( Zahid Hussain, Dawn) 

Who are the TTP militants?? 

They are the students of madrassahs of Pakistan trained by ISI to send in Afghanistan against Russia through the Chitrall valley, Kunar, Nuristan and Kabul. They are the best supporters of taliban of Afghanistan and have fought a war against America with them. 

Why they are attacking the different areas of Pakistan? 

It is said that they want Islamization in Pakistan like taliban government in Afghanistan. When Afghan terim govt established Pakistan military banned their entries into Pakistan because they are the extremist people and being engaged in different activities like APS incident of Peshawar. But after peace talks in 2021 with the help it Afghan government Pakistan allowed them to enter in Pakistan but they are still following TTP's agenda and threating the different areas of Pakistan. 

Who is currently leading TTP? 

Noor Mehsud is the current leader of TTP and recent clashes in Chitrall Valley at Pakistan check posts were being led by Noor Mehsud. One of the commanders of TTP commented in khorasan Diary that we have conquered few villages near the border areas of Pakistan. It is not verified but they are claiming it and it is becoming serious security threat for Pakistan. 

Why this issue is escalating in Pakistan? 

The roots of this issue are going back to serious problem of Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Recently Pakistan military have been starting operation against those refugees and they are sending them back to Afghanistan. Here the question arises that why the Pakistan military is not diplomatically solving this problem because now the third generation of those refugees is living in Pakistan having established businesses and nationality of Pakistan.Military leaders are claiming that these refugees are supporting TTP in Pakistan but according to my opinion those who are supporting must be filtered and punished but rest of them have become the part of Pakistan and they shouldn't be treated the way they are being insulted. 

What is the solution of these terrosist attacks of TTP? 

Sending the refugees back to Afghanistan is not the solution to break the TTP, it is not the solution to start operation against TTP, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhaw pay the price of policy makers' blunders so the best way to resolve this issue is diplomatic strategy with the leaders of TTP and Afghan government. If we strike surgical operations against them they will definitely reply with a violent attacks and innocent people will be the target of them. So it is test of Pakistan policy makers because Pakistan is facing a lot of problems including political and economic instability along with a serious security threats and if we go to another war of counter terrorism against Afghanistan and TTP I think Pakistan will be bombed into stone stage.
